Autumn asked:
I am not registered with my party, and I was wondering how you are suppose to do that. You have to be registered with your party in order to vote in the primaries here. I am only 20, and there hasn’t been a primary since I’ve been old enough to vote. Thanks!

I think yesterday was the deadline, check with your polling place to be sure.

Here is some good info:
I don’t know if you have missed the deadline, you should be able to find out when you register.
Best of luck!

You don’t have to be registered to a party to vote in the primaries in Missouri. Just a registered voter. You just have to declare a party. If you are a registered voter, when you go to the polling place on Super Tuesday they will ask you to declare a party. If you declare Republican you will get a ballot with only republican candidates and any issues that are being voted on at the same time. If you are Democrat, you get a ballot with only democrat candidates and issues. If you declare independent, you get an independent ballot with just the issues to be voted on.
